What is neolog judaism?

Neolog Judaism is a modern Jewish movement that emerged in Hungary in the 19th century as a response to the Haskalah (Jewish Enlightenment) and the growing secularization of society. The Neolog movement sought to modernize Jewish practice and culture while maintaining its traditional values and beliefs.

Neolog Jews rejected many of the traditional practices and customs of Orthodox Judaism, particularly those that they saw as archaic or irrelevant to modern life.
